At six years old, Hobo suffered a big loss when his human Mom passed away and his Dad was no longer able to care for all their cats. That’s how Hobo and a buddy (SEE Bob) came to The Cat Shack (TCS), however, at this point they are able to be adopted separately or together. 

This long, sleek fellow has gorgeous markings and we’ve found him to be a total gentleman!

Like many cats, he was a bit shy at first in his new surroundings (at the Dog Town New Britain cat room) but started to come out of his lovely shell more and more every week. This is one cat who is beautiful inside and out…

Hobo has ZERO aggression and so would likely do best in a home with at least one other sweet kitty to help him further boost his confidence! He would also be fine with older children who are kind and gentle.

For fun, Hobo enjoys sitting on a perch where he can look out a window and watch the world go by. But he also loves petting—and mealtimes!  One thing he’s not shy about is letting you know when he’s hungry ; )

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
