Buddy is a handsome, happy-go-lucky fellow who was rescued from an extremely neglectful situation along with his two brothers in May 2019 and was estimated to be 7 years old at that time. Buddy had dental issues as well as skin and haircoat problems, all of which have been completely resolved. He currently resides with his brother, Peekaboo, and best friend, Oreo, in foster care. Buddy is friendly and playful; he and Oreo often enjoy silly play sessions together! Buddy is quite fond of good food; he hasn't found too much food he doesn't like! He's a fairly big boy, weighing in at about 13 pounds or a bit more.

Buddy has tested FIV+ but is in excellent condition. He hopes to be adopted with his friend, Oreo, or with his brother, Peekaboo (or even both!). He is neutered, leukemia negative and requires no special care, other than good food and loving attention.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
