Reesie is still looking for his furever home. He has had a lot of interest, but has not found the right fit yet. He is an amazing kitten and his fosters are very fond of him. He is beautiful with a great personallity. He loves to be petted and accopany you to the bathroom. He is a little shy and hides when the vacume comes out, but he is plenty social and warms up quickly. He has recently been aroudn a mellow dog with no problem. He likes other cats. If he could stay with his brother, Alfie, that would be great. Young children in the home is not the best fit for Reesie only, because he is a young kitten. A home where he can be treated like the prince that he is would be great. Foster will do a thorough veternary reference and home visit prior to adoption. Adopters must be within 1 hour of foster home.

Reesie is a male, 9 week old kitten. He is adorable and sweet. Reesie and his brother, Alfie, were rescued when three of their siblings disappeared. They were part of an outside litter. When people in the neighborhood noticed the kittens dwindling from 5 to 2, they asked the Cat Shack for help. That day, Cat Shack volunteers took both kittens. They tried for hours but were not able to trap the mother cat. Neighbors are still trying to trap mom, but she's feral and smart. Their mother is a gorgeous medium/longhair cat. There is no doubt Alfie and Reesie will be just as stunning. Alfie and Reesie warmed up to their foster home as soon as they were fed kitten milk. They had a respiratory infection and required medicine for awhile, but now, they are ready for a furever home.
Reesie is a gorgeous kitten with extremely soft fur and very long eyebrow whiskers. He is very sweet and loving. He enjoys snuggles and loves people. From the very start, he had such a loving personality and wonderful litter box manners his foster family thought he was a girl and named him Clarice. He is still frequently called her and Clarice and doesn't mind a bit. Reesie is a progressive kitten possessing the best characteristics of both sexes. Reesie has huge paws and we think he will be a large cat. He has moderate energy and will require another cat/kitten in the home to play with. Because he is still a young kitten, older children would be best to handle and play with him. Reesie's foster family is very fond of him and looking for a home as special and rare as he is. Only the best home for such a wonderful kitten will do. They want to make sure he will find a loving, stable home where he can grow very old and always be safe and cared for. Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
