7/22/16- Kaia is STILL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! She is a sweet, young cat who would need a home without dogs. She does get along with other cats (Small intro will be needed). She likes to have her own food bowls too! She is so sweet, kind and has such a good heart. She is good with kids, patient and likes to be held. She likes to sit with you and hang out. She is going to need time, as any cat would to warm up, but she wont take long!
5/29/16- Kaia is offically spayed, has had her distemper, rabies, revolution(deworming) and is ready for her forever home! She is an excellent companion kitty with perfect litter box manners! She is petite, sweet and loveable.
5/11/16- Kaia is doing very well. Eating, drinking and using the litter box as normal! No issues post delivery, just got a round of deworming and revolution monday. She is such a sweetheart. She has yet to be tested with other cats or dogs. With time and much needed space, if done right I think she could learn to get along with dogs. Cats, she might need some time to warm up. Will test before finalizing her adoption. She would make a fantastic only cat, for a senior or someone who lives alone. She is great company and a total lap cat.
4/27/16- Kaia is being listed for adoption as she would make a fantastic house kitty. She has perfect box manners, she likes to be held. Does well with other cats (as she was outside with other cats) She could also be the only cat. She loves attention. Not sure how she does with dogs or kids. She deseves the best home! She must be kept indoor only, she is not declawed. Currently she is nursing and will not be available for adoption until the first week of June. She will be spayed, up to date on shots, dewormed and given another round of revolution before adoption! She is PURRFECT! If interested please apply!
UPDATE: 4/11/16 Kaia is doing well. Eating, drinking and has great litter box manners! She is friendly and allows us to hold her babies. She is going to make a fantastic house kitty. She will be spayed and up to date within the next month! Tentitive date: 5/16/16
INTAKE: Kaia is approx 2/3 years of age. She is super friendly and would make an excellent house cat once she is up to date and spayed. She is FIV/FELV neg, recently treated (4/4/16) with revolution for parasites/ worms and possible fleas. She was found with her 5 babies outside in a trash can in Germantown Pa. She was quickly transported to Lansdale, Pa where she was picked up by her foster and brought to her new home. The babies and mom are doing great. Kaia is litter box trained! She will be feeding her babies for the next 3 weeks but then will be spayed and vaccinated.

Adopting from The Cat Shack
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
