7/8/16- Tully is still looking for her forever home! She is active, young and very friendly. She gets along with other cats, She has a VERY relaxed personality! She has been introduced to foster homes dogs and has done SUPER WELL with them! If small intros are done, she can go to a house with dogs for sure! She likes to sit with you and watch her surroundings. She is fantastic with younger cats (kittens) as well as older cats. She had a litter of 6 and they have all found their forever homes. You wont be disappointed! She is 100% litter box trained, eats like a champ and loves to hang out with you! The only dislike that she has is being held, other than that she is easy-going, loving and active!
6/3/16- Tully, is doing VERY well. She is fully box trained (NO ACCIDENTS), Spayed, up to date on her distemper and rabies (1 YEAR ), eating and drinking well! She LOVES other cats, but could also be an only cat as well. Tully is quite spunky, she loves attention but doesnt like to be picked up for a long time. She will get another revolution treatment on the 10th of June for deworming. No issues any longer with fleas/ mites. We have not tested her yet with dogs, she seems to be cautious but interested at the same time when she sees the dogs outside the foster room door. If your interested and have a dog please write on application (WILL TEST HER THEN) ! She is super relaxed, will just hang out with you! She is young and would do well with cats of all ages. She isn't too playful, but with the right playmate I have a feeling she'd become more playful and active. I am willing to drive an extra hour or 2 out of my way to give her the home that she deserves!
4/27/16- Tully is updated to available as i'd like to get applications started on finding her a great home. She is full of spunk and love. Total tabby, loves attention!! She likes to greet you right away when you walk through the door. She is litter box trained and has not had an accident at all. She is currently nursing so she is not available until june 10th. She will be spayed, up to date, dewormed and given another round of revolution before heading to her forever home! Tully does VERY WELL WITH OTHER CATS! Dogs and kids unsure of. She will make an excellent house kitty as she loves people. She has excellent manors when it comes to using the scratches for scratching! She is not very active, shes more of a compainion. If your interested, please fill out an application! Can't wait to find her, her PURRFECT forever home!
4/11/16- UPDATE: Tully has had her babies. They were born 4/8/16. She is doing very well! Eating, drinking and going to the bathroom normal. She will need to be given revolution on 4/22/16. She will be spayed and up to date on her shots in about another month. Tentitive date will be 5/30/16. I would like for her to nurse as long as possible. She ended up having a big litter of 6!
3/23/16- INTAKE: Tully is a DSH tabby. She is currently pregnant. Tested neg for FIV/FELV. She has been dewormed with pyrantel and given a flea treatment prior to being brought into foster care. She is eating, drinking and going to the bathroom. She is not up to date or spayed! Looks like she will be having her babies within the next week or two. She looks to be about 2/3 years of age. 10 lbs (while being pregnant) Will re-weigh after birth. She's doing great, healthy, no signs of distress. Very calm and allows to be petted and loves attention. (This could change after birth of her kittens)

Adopting from The Cat Shack
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
