Please help this beautiful Feline Leukemia (FeLV) Positive cat find a home FAST. Her 82 year old owner passed away from a tragic car accident recently and her family is scrambling to try to find this sweet cat a home before the apartment is lost. Time is short! This is a very loving, sweet cat that we are told loves to be picked up and held. Her only special need is that she must be an only cat due to the FeLV, or a buddy for another FeLV+ cat. She is still in the care of the owner's family and will be adopted directly, not through the Cat Shack rescue.

I'm Honey, and Boy am I sweet! Due to the unexpected and tragic death of my beloved owner, I am now in need of a new home quickly. My wonderful owner adopted me knowing I was Feline Leukemia positive. She loved and spoiled me anyway. In return I loved to be picked up and held by everyone. My owner's family has been given 2 weeks to clear out my home, me included. Everyone in the family loves cats, so they have several and can't take me. Can anyone help!?

Honey is a long haired maine coon type cat. She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated and approximately 7 years old. She is Feline Leukemia positive and so should be an only cat or live with other Feline Leukemia cats. She is currently living in her owner's empty apartment.
