Unfortunately, Lion Heart and his sister, Tuft, did not find their purfect, furever home the first time around. They were both returned by their original adopter, because they got new furniture which the kittens scratched. Lion Heart and Tuft are extremely friendly, adorable kittens who display normal kitten behavior. They need an owner who has previous knowledge of kitten behavior and knows how to redirect and allow for kittens being kittens. They are super sweet and have lived with kids, dogs, and other cats. They currently have medium hair, but if their tails and ear fur are any indication, they will become very fluffy. They are a joy to pet. They are a bonded pair and it would be best if they could find a home together, but all are encouraged to apply as long as these lovable kittens would have a cat companion in the home.

Lion Heart has come a long way. He is still a hisser, but he loves affection. We can easily hold him and pet him. He is playing out and about the house with his brother and sisters. He tolerates our dog but still hisses at him. He wants to be the big cat around the house but melts into a teddy bear when petted. He will make a wonderful addition to any family and is going to be a gorgouse kitty.

Lion Heart is not aptly named. His name is more of an aspiration. He is very timid and shy. He hisses when a person or dog walks up to him. He even does the cobra hiss. We can pet and hold him, but it is rare he doesn’t hiss in the beginning. He is not aggressive and only hisses out of fear. He is the last one to leave his cage when it is open. He hides and watches as his siblings, Siren, Tuft, and Binx, play around the house. He runs from hiding place to hiding place very nervously. It is really a shame because he is missing out on all the fun and affection his siblings are getting. Lion Heart is still very young and with patients and persistence we believe he will turn into a loving house cat. He will certainly be a very attractive cat. He has orange long hair and is supper soft. Taking the time to earn his trust will definitely be rewarded by getting to pet and snuggle with this gorgeous cat. Kittens must be adopted in pairs. Please check out Lion Heart’s three siblings, Siren, Tuft, and Binx.
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to...
