Super sweet Bagel was rescued from death-row at Animal Control on March 6th, 2015.  This purry, friendly guy was sadly scheduled to be euthanized the very day he was pulled by the Cat Shack due to a bad case of mange.  Mange is very treatable and we were very fortuante to have the funds and foster space to be able to offer this wonderful cat a 2nd chance.

Bagel was pretty crusy and uncomfortable thanks to those pesky mange mites when he first came to us, but over the last 4 weeks he has steadily improved with proper vet care.  A very handsome and thankful cat is emerging!  

Bagel is Neutered, Litterbox trained, friendly, loves people and other pets and he's FeLV/FIV and heart worm Negative!!  The perfect cat!

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
