Dorothy is a beautiful, colorful calico who was an obviously pregnant stray that took up residence under a shed.  Cat Shack volunteers managed to trap her the day before she gave birth!  Dorothy had 3 adorable kittens born on March 26th, 2015. All have now been adopted and now it is Dorothy's turn.

Dorothy is not completely comfortable with people so would like to find a good barn home along with one or more of her buddies in foster care. She'll be a beautiful presence in your barn and help keep the premises rodent-free in exchange for her food and board.

Dorothy has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. She was a great Mom, raised her beautiful kittens well and is now ready to get on with her life!

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
