In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their 
pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. 
In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. 
Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided.
 In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be
 dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.

Tiger was abandoned about 2 months ago in an empty apartment. He was brought to us by the landlord who found him living alone with no food and water. He was beginning to get sick when he came but has recovered after some medication and love. He is very friendly and affectionate.
