With so perfect a heart-shaped face, the logical question for sweet and stunning Sammie to ask is: “Will you be my Valentine?” She may be 5 years old, but because this ebony beauty with the tuft of white at her throat is a petite 9 pounds, she looks more like a 5-month-old kitten. And she lives, loves and plays like a kitten too. As friendly as she is frisky, she is also an easygoing kitty cat, and an absolute joy to be around. Sadly for Sammie, her loving owner is terminally ill. But happily for Sammie, she was placed in our loving care, and has settled, calmly and effortlessly, into her foster home. A superior snuggler, Sammie LOVES to be held and to be loved, to sit in your lap during the day and to sleep in your bed at night. She also has a secret. Apparently, she has several feline tricks up her furry sleeve. Perhaps what Sammie needs first is a fur loving, fur-ever home before revealing all.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
