These 4 beauties were born inside a foster home 7 weeks ago to a pure white mom cat. Two boys and two girls. The smallest of the 4 is a boy called Mercury, and he has a small patch of gray on his head. He is the most forward of all the kittens and is a little purring machine. The 2nd boy, Neptune, has tiny gray hairs on his head that are hardly visible. Although hard to see, they seem to spell out a “V” and a “6”. Neptune is a silly boy and he will growl and hiss at his toys quite happily as he bats them around. The 2 girls, Venus and Luna, have a few gray hairs on their heads and very blue eyes at the moment. They are slighly larger then the 2 boys. They are active and sweet, and have very loud meows! All are very social and friendly.

All the kitten's eyes are still changing color but there might be some permanent blue eyed kittens in this group. This makes them even more beautiful.

Because pure white/blue eyed cats are sometimes deaf, we have tried to test them for hearing ability. This is difficult with kittens since you can't be sure if they are deaf or are just ignoring you....which cats sometimes do! We are pretty sure at this point that both boys and Venus hear sounds just fine, but beautiful Luna with the deep blue eyes may be deaf. Because of this she will need a special home that will be safe for a cat that doesn't hear.

We suggest that all of these kittens go to an adult-only home or a home with older, gentle children. We like to see all of our young kittens adopted in pairs or to a home with another feline friend. This is so they have a playmate to help socialize and burn off excess energy (these 4 have LOADS of energy) which also helps to reduce the chances that they will become destructive. All 4 of these babies are vocal and meow their heads off when out of sight of their brothers and sisters, and growl and talk when playing. They are very playful. active and affectionate.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
