10/23/05- Little Thad has been adopted and is now in a wonderful home with a new big "sister" cat. Thanks for adopting this cutie!

Update and new pics, 10/1/05. Thad is now 8 weeks old! He is doing great and is now old enough to go to a new home. He loves playing with his foster family's 5-year-old cat and has learned a lot of good manners from him. Thad is very playful and active, uses his litterbox and loves the scratching post. He will play with his toys for hours and then curl up in his catbed (next to his kitty housemate) for a long nap. Thad is an adorable kitten who is very bold and loves adventure. He would love to find a loving family that already has another cat living with them so he can roll around on the floor and play! Thad currently is being fostered in a home with cats, dogs and a toddler.

Original post 9/13/05- Since Birth, Thad and his sibling were bottle-fed by a kind human family. Thad's sibling found a home with a relative of his original family but Thad came to the Cat Shack to find his perfect family.

This adorable little guy is very spunky and, with all his early human attention, very friendly! He is also a tiny bit of a "brat". We think he might have been a little spoiled- how can you not want to spoil such a cutie. He is very bold, loves to roll on his back and bat atyour hands and he loves to explore the house looking for adventure. He will play with other cats but seems to be a little shocked that he can't push the big cats around as easily as he can his humans. This little guy should be adopted by a person with at least one other young, playful cat so he can continue to learn proper cat manners and have someone to burn off all his kitty energy.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
