Silk and kashmire are litter-mates, born to a lynx point Siamese mother. Their father is a mystery! BOTH of these cats are super, super friendly and loving. Silk is a very unusual tan/chocolate color with classic tabby marks. Her eyes are silver/tan. Kashmir is black and silver with classic tabby marks and he has a slightly cross-eyed look of an oriental.

Silk and Kashmir are approximately 4 years old and so playful and interactive. They have many traits of the Siamese breed and can be talkative and eccentric. They keep their foster parents laughing with their silly antics and their affectionate nature. Silk is a true lap-cat and Kashmir loves to dip his paw in water and lift the droplets to his mouth to drink.

These two beautiful cats were living in a loving home for several years where they were cherished and happy. They interacted very well with the family dog and children. Sadly, these poor cats lost their family when their humans were transfered to India and couldn't take the cats with them. Like many cats in general, and Siamese in-particular, the cats took the loss of the only home they ever knew very hard. They spent some time in a temporary home with a toddler and several dogs, but they were not getting enough attention and Kashmir began to lose weight. They were returned to foster care, put on high quality food and fussed over, and both cats soon perked right back up. They are now their happy, silly selves again.

We want to find an excellent home for these two cats where they can be cherished and appreciated for the super cats that they are! They will need lots of play time and attention, love and lap time. We think the ideal home will include a stay-at-home person, retired people or anyone that plans to spend a lot of time play with and interacting with their pets! Gentle kids and dogs would be fine.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
