05/28/5005 Sidney was adopted with Miss Priss. The two are doing very well in their new home. We are so happy that these two have found such a great home! Thanks to their new adopters for adopting both of these girls!!

11/20/2004 Sidney recently was thrown out of her home when her owner's had a house fire. They couldn't take her with them and didn't want her anymore, so they let her outside to fend for herself. This poor girl was very underweight when she first came to us. At her first vet visit she only weighed 5 lbs. She is slowly putting on some weight and looks alot better. Sidney now weighs in at 7.5lbs!!

Sidney is a stunning orange and white Oriental tabby. She is estimated to be about a year old. She is very sleek and slender. Sidney has a very outgoing personality. She loves to be held and craves attention. She will purr the minute you hold her. She loves to play and uses her scratching post faithfully. She doesn't seem to mind the company of other cats and seems to be fine with cat friendly dogs.

Sidney is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FeLV and FIV. Sidney does need a special diet due to her smoke inhalation from the house fire. This food can be purchased in the grocery stores or any pet store. Sidney needs to eat Iams Lamb and Rice dry food. She can eat any flavor canned food since she doesn't eat that much. She has a sensitive stomach and this seems to help her.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
