09/28/2005 Adopted! These two adorable kittens are now in their new home. They seem to be adjusting to their new feline and canine friends. Thanks to their new family who adopted them!

07/28/2005 Scarlet and Scout just arrived into foster care. They are brother and sister who are very playful and energetic. They will chase each other around for hours on end before they tire each other out.

Scarlet and Scout were born May 30th. They are very affectionate and love people. They purr the minute they see you.

Scarlet is a very petite kitten and will probably stay this way for the rest of her life. She was found outdoors and at the time she was rescued she had a very severe upper respiratory infection, which may have stunted her growth a little bit. She is smaller than her brother, Scout. Scarlet does have a very angular shape to her face and some other Oriental traits.

Scarlet and her brother, should be adopted together. Neither would know what to do without the other one by their side. If not adopted together, they MUST go to a home that already has another cat. This way they will have some to play with them and burn off some of the energy they have.

Scarlet and Scout are up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and negative for FeLV and FIV. All they need is to find someone to love them and pamper them for the rest of their lives.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
