02/03/2004 Sarah Jane is doing well in her new home. She has plenty of room to run around in and lots of step to go up and down and hopefully lose a little weight.

Thanks to her new mommy and daddy for giving Sarah Jane another chance at a forever home.

SarahJane is a beautiful and loving 2 year old front declawed female anxious to find someone to love her in return. SarahJane was owned by a lady who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis who finally could no longer manage to live independently. When the lady had to be moved to a nursing facility, SarahJane and her 13 year old companion cat, Sally, (also available for adoption - please see separate posting) remained alone in the house being cared for by a person who stopped in once a day. Both cats are now in foster care with The Cat Shack and have tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and had their vaccinations updated.

SarahJane loves to be petted,can easily be picked up and will be a lap cat. She is definitely a little too plump and would benefit from some assistance in getting her figure back under control. She will adapt very quickly to a new home and gets along with other cats very well.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
