This adorable Russian Blue type kitty was adopted from the Cat Sahck back in 2008 as a young cat.  Unfortunately his elderly owner is moving into a nursing facility and family members can not care for Oscar (formerly Ringo).  He's lived as a loving companion to his caretaker who couldn't say enough about how wonderful he is!  He should do well in any home and will offer you the best snuggles and purrs.  RIngo/Oscar's personality is fabulous and with proper introductions we expect that he would adjust to a home with other pets, or he would be happy as your one and only.  

Original post: Ringo/Oscar ha  1/9/08 "Ringo" and his siblings were in a bad situation living where there were too many cats with an older woman selling her home for retirement. Many had already been taken to be euthanized at a shelter.

Ringo is quite the handsome mini man, is very affectionate and seeks out your attention. He's approx. 5 months old, is already neutered, current on vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. This little love bug can be seen at PetSmart in Whitehall, PA.

Please note :The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, "special-needs" cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $65 adoption donation!

All adopters also get an adoption gift bag with some free samples of cat products and a 4lb bag of Science Diet cat food.
