Ren (short for Renalda) is a gem. She was part of a group of cats living outside in the Coopersburg area. The Cat Shack and local homeowners were working together to trap/neuter/return the group, where the local people planned to continue feeding them while preventing overpopulation.
Ren was only about 5 months old when trapped. On her way to the vet, she started to meow and nibble on the fingers of a Cat Shack volunteer and with these signs of trust and affection from the litle orange cat, the volunteer just couldn't bear to return her to the outside.
Ren was altered, tested neg for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, vaccinated and subsequently quickly settled into life indoors. She is mild mannered and quiet, and when given half a chance to bloom she shows herself to be very sweet and loving. She loves to be petted and fussed over, she is fine being picked up and just loves to play! She gets along great with other cats (Her current room mates are Sophia and Emily) and she is very beautiful. She has big round eyes and a deep orange color that is very close to red. She loves her scratching post and is great with the litterbox. This is a lovely young cat that is VERY thankful to be inside- maybe you can offer her the home she craves?
