Update- this is a very sweet little cat! Rascal has settled into his foster home and is doing well. He is very playful and loves both the adults and the toddler in the house. He is still hissing a little at the other felines but he seems interested in making friends with the other cats also.

9/15/05 Poor Rascal lost his home due to allergies in the family. His owner took him in after he was born to a family member's unspayed cat. He was neutered and front declawed at 6 months of age and, sadly, is now homeless only 1 month later. Although he is still quite new to his foster family, his previous owner told us that he is very loving and good with children. They told us he is not a picky eater and that he grew up with other cats before she took him home. Although he is now a little bewildered with all of the changes he has been forced to undergo recently, we believe he will make an excellent pet for someone willing to give him a permanent, loving home.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
