Looking for a SUPER AFFECTIONATE cat? Oreo is a handsome, laid-back, 3 year old black and white fellow who seems to spend the majority of his time rubbing up against humans or anything else in sight! Oreo just loves attention and can be picked up and held and carried around as well. He gets along well with other cats and dogs but is far more interested in people than other animals.

Oreo was born on a farm and was not allowed in the house, despite his never-ending attempts to gain entrance. He suffered from a condition called entropion which means that his eyelids curved inward and rubbed against his eyes, causing constant irritation. When Oreo came to The Cat Shack, he immediately underwent surgery for neutering and to correct his entropion. That surgery was completely successful and Oreo's eyes are now fine. Fortunately, no permanent damage was done to his eyes and Oreo has already forgotten that he ever had a problem.

Oreo is looking for a loving, indoor home in which he will receive plenty of attention. He is guaranteed to return the favor! He has excellent litterbox manners and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

Oreo's surgery was a costly expense for The Cat Shack. Any and all donations to help with that vet bill will be greatly appreciated.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
