Oedipus

Oedi's rescuer took a litter of 4 kittens into her trailer after finding them outside. All of the rescues were full, but the Cat Shack offered to help her to make them more adoptable by testing and vaccinating the babies. When our volunteer saw Oedi, his one eye was cloudy, bulging and beginning to rupture. We agreed to take this kitty in to receive much needed vet care. Oedi's injured eye could not be saved so $600 in Vet Bills later, his useless eye was removed and he is a MUCH happier kitty. Any donations toward Oedi's surgery will be much appreciated and any donations to The Cat Shack's 501(c) 3 non-profit rescue are tax deductible.

Oeidi is an adorable, sweet and VERY active kitten! He has become fast friends with "Starvin" Marvin (Pictured here) in his foster me and loves to jump on his back and ride him like a pony. Oedi is easy to pick up and likes to be stroked.

Oedi is FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated and already neutered! He is ready for a holiday home.

Please note :The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to Eastern PA and NJ. In certain situations, "special-needs" cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $65 adoption donation!

All adopters also get an adoption gift bag with some free samples of cat products and a 4lb bag of Science Diet cat food.
