Thanks Sue for giving Maeve and her brother Mithra a wonderful home!

Ready to be adopted 5/20/04

Maeve (From the Gaelic name Méabh meaning "intoxicating") and her 3 siblings were born outside to a beautiful longhaired cat. The whole family came into foster care when the kittens were only about 3 weeks old, so all 4 kittens are very social with people. Maeve is a beautiful semi-long hair dark tabby and she is very playful! She loves to roll on the floor with either human or feline buddies.

These kittens must be adopted with another kitten or, alternatively, they must go to a home that already has another cat. We request this because kittens can become lonely and destructive if they are left alone too many hours and do much better when adopted with a friend!

Mom and kittens tested neg. for FeLV and the kittens have been dewormed and received their first FVRCP vaccines.

The kittens will need to receive subsequent vaccinates and must be altered prior to 6 months of age. Vaccines and the alter surgery are included in our adoption contract and fee when performed by our vets.

Please note :The first step to adoption is to fill out an on -line application.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $50 adoption donation!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...
