Lily is being posted for adoption from her owners and will be adopted directly from them and not through the Cat Shack Rescue. Her owners will be bringing home a premature infant soon and want to place her ASAP. Please help Lily find a quiet home where she can be happy. This is what her owners had to say:

Lily is spayed, front declawed and about 7 years old. I had her since she was a kitten. She is very affectionate and a true lap cat. She adjusted to our first child with no problems but once he became a toddler her life became more stressful. Now that our 2nd child has arrived, and so early, we don't think she will do well here. Though she has never acted out around my older son, being around him now that he is a loud, busy, curious 2 year old, stresses her out. She has never been around other pets so I don't know how she would be. She seems to be a one-person kind of cat. She is very affectionate with me, less so with my husband and son, and skittish when company comes to the house. She is still playful and very curious. As you can see from the pictures, she is a beautiful cat and she keeps herself very well groomed.

We hope to find her a quiet home where she can be happy.

If you are interested in adopting Lily, please fill out the on-line application and we will forward it directly to her owners.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
