Jericho is a beautiful sweetheart who is 4 1/2 months old (as of December 27) and now anxious to find his own permanent loving home. His tabby markings are striking - he has large swirls of jet black and gray on his sides, and exceptionally soft and sleek fur. Trapped at the age of 3 months at a farm with a colony of semi-feral cats that were being spayed and neutered, Jericho was well on his way to becoming another feral cat. However, he has come around beautifully while in foster care and has turned into a very sweet and loving little fellow. He is still a little insecure and easily frightened by loud noises or sudden movements, but he is becoming braver day by day. He purrs when he is picked up and held and is also discovering the joys of settling down for some attention and a nap in a human lap.

Jericho is being fostered with other cats and very much enjoys their company. He must be adopted with another cat or kitten or go to a home with another cat who would like to have a feline buddy and playmate.

Jericho is negative for feline leukemia and FIV and ready to show you just how appealing he is.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
