Update Sept 2006- Milly and Isabella are very sweet and love attention and petting once they settle into a new environment. Bella Loves to be picked up and held by familiar people, and Milly will do the "elevator butt" when her back is scratched! They would be happy in a quiet home, also they are ideal candidates for a safe barn situation.

04-15-06 Bella and her sister have made great progress in foster care and have been able to trust and bond with their foster family. While it will take time to make the transistion to a new family, the rewards of allowing them time to adjust to a new home will be great - they are a precious set of sisters! They are just waiting for the right home where they can be given time to settle in and trust...

Isabella and her sister (Milly) were rescued mid-December 2005 from a colony of cats that were living behind a grocery store. Bella is the more outgoing and confident of the sisters and ADORES attentions. She and her sister are precious together and are the most devoted of companions. They are approximately 4 months old and are full of silly kitten playfulness. We would really like the sisters to be adopted together as they are such a delightful pair. These two little ladies will light up their forever home!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
