Holly, blind in one eye, was dumped at a local kill shelter by her former owners. She was obviously neglected; her beautiful long hair matted and she was very overweight . Poor Holly became very depressed at the shelter, hiding and nipping from the stress of being in the caged environment. When her time was up, a Cat Shack foster home agreed to take her in so she could be given a 2nd chance at finding a good home.

Holly is doing much better in a bright, cheery home environment! She is spayed, vaccinated and FeLV/FIV neg. She will need a long term diet plan to reduce her excess weight, but she clearly has the potential to be a beautiful cat! The Cat Shack will have her long hair clipped before adoption if her new owners wish us to have this done. Keep in mind that she will need frequent brushing to keep her lovely locks in good shape.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $50 adoption donation!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
