Original post: Here's a little sweetheart who wants to be your loving companion. Estimated by the vet to be 2 or 3 years old at most, Henrietta and another cat lived with an elderly woman in a mobile home park. The owner died and the people responsible for clearing out the mobile home simply dumped both of the cats outside! One cat promptly disappeared but Henrietta stayed near her former home, often sitting on the front steps in the cold winter weather, sadly waiting and wondering why her owner was not letting her back inside. Fortunately, a nearby neighbor put food out for Henrietta and called TCS for help. Henrietta refused to go into a trap and was too jumpy to allow herself to be picked up, but after many weeks was recently lured inside the neighbor's enclosed porch.

Now safely in foster care, Henrietta is regaining her confidence. She can be picked up and held and is loving and gentle. She is a grayish/brownish tabby in color, with no white. She had been spayed by her owner and has now tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and had her vaccines updated. It appears that she will do well with other cats but, most of all, she is looking for a loving lap to sit on, and safety and security for life.

Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, "special-needs" cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
