09/12/2004 Come visit me at our adoption center at PetsMart in Whitehall!!! Right near Sport's Authority. I would love some visitors!!

I am a very dapper young fellow looking for love and affection and I will gladly return the favor! I'm about a year old and like just about everybody I meet. I will rub up against you and am happy to be picked up and held. I will also be glad to entertain you by rolling around on my back and doing all sorts of cute things. I'm long and leggy and, frankly, very appealing!

My background story is sad and I don't know why I was treated that way. When I was really young, my owner took me with her to live with and care for an elderly woman who wasn't well. When my owner moved out again, she left me behind in the basement of that home. I was not found until days later and was close to death from hunger and thirst. The person who found me helped me recuperate but then put me outside and pretty much forgot about me. I found my way to a nearby neighbor who was kind enough to feed me but did not bring me inside either and had no money to take me to the vet. Lucky for me, The Cat Shack found out about me and things have been going far better ever since! I am now neutered, vaccinated and have tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. The only thing I still need is a permanent, loving home of my very own. Please come to PetsMart to meet me. I think you just might fall in love!

Harvey will be at the Allentown Petco on Lehigh Street on Sunday, October 24 from 11 to 2, and hopes you will come to meet him there!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
