Dec 4th update and new pics.

Frances is doing great in his foster home. He is friendly and playful with his foster people (even the toddler!) and loves to play with his long-haired sister, Olivia (also posted and available for adoption). He seems unphased by the dogs and uses the scratching post and the litterbox. He is a sweet, playful little guy.

Original post: Little Francis is an adorable Approx 9-week-old male kitten. He is a buffy-orange color with little white boots and a white chest. He has faint tabby marks on his tail, legs and face and a "Fuzzy" coat.

This little guy and his 2 siblings were born to an unspayed female cat. When the owners got tired of having the kittens in the house they were tossed outside where they were lucky enough to be rescued by a a caring neighbor.

Francis is a CHARMER! He has a buff/orange and white coat. His eyes are gold and he is an affectionate, loving kitten. Because he had been rescued from outside, he received a bath when he first arrived and took this experience in stride, purring away. He is now up to date on vaccines and tested neg for FeLV/FIV. Francis would do well in most homes but would need another cat to frolic with and to keep him company while his humans were away. He is very friendly to all, but started out a little timid around his foster family's 2 year old human, so expect an adjustment period if there are children in the home. After a few weeks he was playing with his toddler as well as his adult foster people. This is a great kitten!

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
