Emily is a beautiful, sweet, affectionate, semi-longhair, young cat who appeared out of nowhere and took up residence outside the home of an elderly couple. When she finally decided to go into a trap and was taken into foster care, Emily was extremely plump and then delivered two gorgeous kittens just 36 hours later! The kittens have now been weaned and adopted and now it's time for Emily to find a permanent home of her own. She is a very loving little cat who can be picked up and held and loves to rub up against you. If you do not pay quite enough attention to her, she will remind you that you should! She is a definite lap cat - just looking for that special lap.

Emily gets along well with other cats and is currently helping to take care of Ozzie, a shy young orange tabby who is also in need of a loving home. Emily is now spayed and fully vaccinated, and also tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. If you are looking for a loving comapnion, please consider Emily.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
