Devon (about 6 months old) and her close friend Demetrius were recently rescued from the streets of
Philadelphia. Their owner did not feel that they could afford to spay/neuter their
female cats, but then they quickly learned that they could not properly care for the
many kittens born to those females! Eventually the kittens were put outside to fend
for themselves, and several were killed on the road. Devon and Demetrius were
lucky enough to be scooped up and brought into a safe foster home where they now
wait for the perfect home.

Devon is a beautifully marked Tortie with vivid
orange, black markings. Her pretty face is split in half with orange on one side and
black on the other. She is super friendly and easy to handle, has excellent litterbox
manners and seems to love other cats- especially Demetrius. When they were
reunited after their spay/neuter surgery Devon could not stop head-butting her big
orange friend and purring like a motorboat!

Devon is spayed, FeLV/FIV neg,
vaccinated and ready for a home. Her ideal home would include Demetrius.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
