Update- 2/10/12- Calista has been in a loving home for 6 years, but her owner is now sick and needs to find the perfect home for Calista.  She is now about 6 1/2 years old and would prefer to be an only pet.  She is a beautiful Siamese mix and is very affectionate to her people.

12/1/05-

Calista and Plato were born in a feral colony. Calista is a blue-eyed lynx pointed Siamese type, while her littermate Plato is a gray and white beauty. These two were rescued when they were 4 weeks old and were raised in a home with kids and dogs. They are now 7 months old. Their former rescuer couldn't afford their care so they are now in Cat Shack foster care seeking a new home.

We hope to find a home for these two siblings together since they are very bonded and love to play, sleep and eat together. Both are very beautiful and loving. Calista came to the Cat Shack with a belly-button hernia and a bad infection, plus a cold that made her sneeze. We had her hernia repaired and her infection has been treated. She is now a beautiful, healthy little girl. She is very playful and active, but also likes to be carried and held like a baby.

Calista is FeLV/FIV tested and neg, spayed, dewormed and vaccinated.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
