11/05/2003 Barkley is in his new home and seems to be doing fine. He is still a little jumpy with noises and new sounds but overall he is doing great. He loves to drink out of the faucets when his new owners turn the water one and he is getting along with his new sister too.

Thank you so much Scott and Theresa for giving Barkley a chance at a new life. I know he is very happy with you two!!!!

Barkely is a sweet cat who just wants someone to show him what love is. He is super friendly and loves to be petted.

Barkley needs to go to a home with no dogs or young children. He would be ok with one cat but he would prefer to be the King of the Castle so he can get all the attention himself.

Barkley is about 10 years old and is very active for his age. He has more energy than some kittens we have. He loves to be petted and also loves to be brushed for hours on end. He also likes to play with water coming out of a facuet. He is rather fond of drinking right out of the faucet if you turn it on for him

Barkley is already neutered and up to date on all his shots and is negative for Feline Leukemia. He is also declawed on all four of his paws, which was done by his previoys owners.

Please help Barkley find a home where he can spend the rest of his life in. He just wants someone to spend some time with him and pamper him.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
