New Photos have arrived. Have even more that I will post soon.
He is an amazing sweet friendly cat that has had a rough time. He lived in the Pocono Mtns area and has endured hard winters...especially this past winter of 2013/2014. He did find a nice couple to feed him and they realized he was very friendly and loving.
They took him to a Catsnip event and he was neutered and brought up to date on shots.
He was very sick when he came to his foster home and needed TLC> He had a respiratory infection and ear infection from having chronic ear mites from living outside.
He is well on his way to recovery and looking for his forever home. He has lived outside on his own, fighting for his food from a bully cat and sharing his meals with a raccoon. Wyatt is ready to lay in the sun in a window of his new home.
Have been evaluating him with dogs and he doesn't seem to like them very much. Maybe from being outside and having to fight for food or maybe was chased by them.. Wyatt does not like dogs at all and would probably not do well with one in the home.
P.S> He loved his new blue bed and his heat lamp....pictures to follow.
The first hour he was in the bed he was kneading and padding and crashed asleep....hind feet propped up on side.
Neutered, FeLV/FIV tested Neg/Neg, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for ear mites/upper respiratory infection. Sweet, sweet boy.
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to...
