Update 7/23: Fenando has gained weight and looks great!!! he is so affectionate and loving! He is seeing the vet for a check up tomorrow and should be cleared to get neutered--then he will be all ready for his new home. You couldnt find a nicer cat!!!
This poor guy was found at a friend's farm---must have been a drop off at some point by someone who didn't want him anymore. Thank goodness my friends are a very caring couple and took him in! He is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and loves to give kisses and head butts! He didn't know how to make it on the outside---he is extremely thin and has some battlescars from other animal attacks. He is quite the talker too!! He sounds like a Siamese or Burmese : ) Fernando is not ready for adoption since he is critically underweight, but any donations toward his care would be greatly appreciated!!!!
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area.
