The Cat Shack was contacted by a man who was concerned about an over-population of cats at a nearby barn.  He had placed over 40 kittens on his own and was attempting to trap/neuter/return the adult cats, but he was becoming overwhelmed.  

Luckily the Cat Shack was able to help him with his efforts by taking 5 kittens into foster care.  These 5 babies had the benefit of being socialized from an early age and are beautiful, healthy kittens.  

They have been vet checked, dewormed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and vaccinated.  Their spay/neuter surgery is included in the adoption fee of $85.  Please note that young kittens must be adopted in pairs or go to homes that already have a young cat as a playmate.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
