7/28/22 - Addison was once again given up by her family, who did not give her proper care.  This sweet girl has been through so much and just wants a family who will keep her and protect her for the rest of her life.  She is currently staying at our adoption center at the Whitehall PetSmart.  New photos coming soon!

1/23/19 - Through no fault of her own, Addison has found her way back to us at The Cat Shack.  Sadly, her former owners had her declawed, against our contract.  Addison is again looking for her forever home.  Addison is a sweet girl, a bit cautious from her ordeal, but adjusting very well to her new surroundings. She is now up to date on vet work and ready to find a home that will love her always.

Addison likes to be around her people, and may be a lap cat when she settles in.  She is fine with the cats at the adoption center where she's staying, but doesn't really seek them out for play.  She'd be fine with a lower key cat who would give her time to get used to him or her.  She'd also most likely be fine with a cat savy dog.

What Addison really wants, though, is a place where she will feel secure, loved, and never have to worry about being abandoned again.  If you want to make Addison your forever girl, please apply for her today!

7/9/2013  Hello!  I'm Addison, pictured here along with my sister, Annie.  We also have 2 brothers Anthony and Andrew who look just like us!!  We are all looking for our forever homes as soon as possible since we are now spending our time out in the heat in the gazebo since our foster home is too crowded for us.

We were all born to a stray Mom at an overpopulated farm in June.  Our Mom is now spayed and living happily back at the farm but we really need indoor homes.

We all tested negative for FIV and FeLV and are current with vaccines and dewormed.  We would love to be adopted with one of our sibblings since we love to play with each other as well as cuddle with our people.  Since we're only around 2 months old, we will be spay/neutered when we're a little older as part of our adoption.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
