This lovely little calico showed up in a yard in Philadelphia along with her black and white friend (possible brother?) named Buddy.  At first this duo was very frightened, which isn't surprising given that they were living outside in the middle of a big city.  Luckily they were offered food by one of the residents and they settled into life behind the houses.  Cali even became very friendly to her caretaker and would allow herself to be pet and even picked up!  She was still wisely wary of strangers.

Both cats are now spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and vaccinated.  

Their caretaker realized this situation was not a good long term answer for them and it was just a matter of time before they were injured or one of the neighbors decided they were not happy having cats in their yard.  Cali and Buddy came into Cat Shack foster care.

Cali and Buddy would love a safe, warm barn to call home and in return they will offer you a touch of feline beauty in your yard and excellent rodent control!

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
