Orange tabby lovers, take note. Oliver is an adorable little orange tabby fellow who is ALL orange. Even his eyes are orange! (Current picture does NOT reflect his true color. Better photos coming soon!) He was rescued from a large colony living outdoors at the home of a hoarder, and his estimated date of birth is 04/05/12.

Oliver was rescued in October 2012 and is still a little bit on the nervous/skittish side, but is becoming better and better every day. Once you start to pet him, he realizes he enjoys it! He's a happy, playful fellow who is used to living with other cats, so he certainly wants a feline buddy in his new home. He is currently being fostered with a very friendly young cat and she is helping him understand how wonderful people can be.

Oliver is in perfect health and is neutered, fully vaccinated and negative for feline leukemia and FIV. If you have another young cat who wants a playful buddy, and are willing to give Oliver the time and TLC he needs to become more self confident, then he would most certainly like to be adopted by you!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
