Lilac is a sweet and delicate flower just like her name. She is very pretty and has very soft fur. Lilac and her siblings, Feisty and Moona, came into the Cat Shack rescue when their mother died. The family lived on a farm and when the mother died, they were starving. The farm owner knew they would not make it on the farm alone, so she asked a Cat Shack volunteer to help. The kittens were feral and starving. They also had fleas and worms. It took weeks until they became healthy and happy. Now, Lilac and her siblings are safe and warm. Lilac was the most feral of her litter. She has come a long way. Now, her family picks her up, holds and pets her. She is still a little skittish but enjoys people and is learning to trust. Her foster home consists of people, kids, dogs, and cats. Lilac loves her brother Feisty most of all and would love to be adopted with him, but she is available to a quiet home where she will be nourtured and safe. Holding and petting Lilac is a treat, and she is a speacial kitty.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
