In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided. In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.

This sweet young calico found her way to our deck one night and kept coming back every night. My husband eventually started feeding her. We were hoping she would find her way home but she never did. She was probably dropped off and did not know where to go for food or shelter.

 We had her spayed and deflead, and got her rabies and distemper shots.  The Vet found a BB in her side, which is so sad.

We can't keep her because of moving and traveling and desperately want to find her a good home. She is so affectionate I think she would be great with kids. We think she is about 1 yr.old.
