5/9/2012 "Kika" is a 12 yr old beautiful friendly calico who was scheduled to be euthanized one Thursday in April. Her owner had divorced, house was being sold, and owner was going to be out of the country approx 5 months of the year.

The night before they were to be euthanized, the decision was made to bring them into foster care.

Kika is a door greeter, loves everyone and even at 12 yrs old likes to play with moving string. She's obviously spayed, tested negative for FIV and Felv, and current with vaccines.

Won't you consider giving Kika a place in your heart and home for what time she may have left in her life.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
