Simian – Check out Simian!  He got his name from someone who thought he was a funny little monkey! 

Simian is one of two brothers who were rescued as tiny kittens at 6 to 8 weeks of age.  Their rescuers took them in and have cared for them and have tried to adopt them out.  Unfortunately, they have had no luck, and cannot do it much longer for currently undisclosed reasons, but rest assured they would do more if they could, and they are also very concerned about having them go to a good foster or adoptive home.

Simian is a fun little guy!  He is lovable and easy to handle, jumps up and sleeps in bed with his foster parents at night, and of course (if you couldn’t tell) he loves to play!  He runs around with the other cats and the small dog in his current foster home, explores and examines the apartment for part of the day, and loves chasing around toys and goes nuts for the laser toy!  Simian is a lover, but he is energetic and so long as he has a little room and some toys he’s happy to wear himself out; he is happier still to have people and other animals to hang around with, to play with and to snuggle with!

Simian is a cute grey tabby, about 7 months of age, neutered, tested neg for leuk/fiv, UTD with vaccines, and is ready to play and snuggle up with a forever family!  This is a much appreciated courtesy post for a private adoption/foster-placement.  For further info or interest in applying for adoption, please contact goldsteind713@gmail.com at your earliest convenience.  Me and Simian can’t wait to hear from you! The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
