In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. As it turns out, Lil' Mom has no home, nor does she have any shelter in which to go in bad weather, whatever it may be. It is very sad when she has to be out in heavy rain as she looks like she has been pulled out of the river. I believe she was a fall baby in 2009 based on her size when we first saw her last spring which makes her about 2 years old now. We have had her spayed through Peaceable Kingdom, but they are way overloaded and unable to help. But is my understanding you would try to help.
INFO: Lil' Mom is negative for the feline diseases and is up to date on her shots. We frontline her to keep the fleas/ticks away. She was wormed at the time of spaying and treated for earmites, but since we had to release back into the outdoors, it is probable that she could have worms/earmites again. Though we keep her fed, she does hunt and catch mice, moles and birds. However, she no longer raids people's garbage. She weighs 7 1/2 pounds.
She is all black on top and the rest can been seen in the photo. Her belly fur is not completely grown in from the spaying. She is very friendly and loves to be patted. We can pick her up and hold her on our laps for brief periods.
