In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided. In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.

My daughter rescued this kitten off of the road on Friday night.  She is about 8 weeks old, I'm guessing.  She is seemingly healthy and extrememly friendly. She loves to rub on you and get petted and she is litter box trained.  We have several other animals in our house and just cannot keep her.  I am hoping to find a home or foster care for her, but I will be taking her to the SPCA on Wednesday if I cannot find a place for her.
