Elvis is gorgeous. He has the most amazing eyes - pale blue, the color of moonstones. He was found wandering in one of Philly's worst neighborhoods, and was scheduled to be euthanized at the Philly SPCA because he had a cold. His foster took one look at his beautiful markings and imploring blue eyes, and had to save him.

Elvis is extremely affectionate with people, loves to be petted and held, and is very chatty and communicative. Whether he's happy, sad, hungry, or not hungry, a Siamese will tell you what he's thinking. He is very submissive with people. And he's smart.

Update 8/31/11: When his foster originally took Elvis in a month ago, he seemed not to be fond of other cats. But he's doing a lot better integrating into his multi-cat household. He's a young male, and plays rough. He does try to express his dominance, but backs off when the other cat stands up to him. He has calmed down a good deal.

The most important thing to know about Elvis is that he doesn't like being alone. His first preference is to be with his people. If he can't, he then wants to hang with the other cats. Elvis needs company. He will not do well in a house where he's left alone all day.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
