Cocoa's kittens born May 16, 2011 will be available for adoption on July 11th, when they are 8 weeks old. There are 3 boys & 1 girl all are very friendly & love to play!
There is Sully, he is black & white. I don't this his coat will be quite as long as his siblings but not short either. Sully was the first born & started out being the largest of all the kittens however his siblings are catching up! Sully likes to clean, he thinks it is his job (as well as his mommy's job is to make sure his brothers & sister don't have any food on there faces after eating):)
Frank who is orange with some white has somewhat of a Tabby pattern in his fur which is medium to long in length. Frank was born 2nd & is very outgoing & curious, he is the first to 'jump' on you when you enter the room. He likes to explore & climb...he will climb right up you pant leg to get to you if he feels your not giving him enough attention:)
Adeline is the very sweet little girl. She was born third. She looks most like her mommy Cocoa with her brown & black medium length torti pattern hair. At this point she is very petite & is shy at first, but warms up after a little & will jump right in and wrestle w/the boys! She can definitely hold her own!
Bean started out being this littlest of the boys, he was the 4th born, he has now caught up! He has Tabby markings on his face, legs & belly that are white & dark gray. His back is a dark grayish mixture, his fur is medium and he likes to follow his siblings around, just like a little brother. He hangs very close to his sister Adie.
When playing is done for the day, mommy & kittens can be found all snuggled together on their rug snoozing! The kittens have not been tested yet or spay/neutered as they are not quite old enough but will be after they turn 8 weeks. Part of The Cat Shack policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs or with their mommy or they be adopted into a household where there is another young cat.
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to... All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!Adopting from The Cat Shack
