Hello!  My name is Ginger! 

My brother, Timothy, and I were born in a mobile home park. The Cat Shack did a TNR effort there but missed trapping mom the first time and so here I am! Our Mom has now been trapped, spayed and returned to the park and she is living very happily there. Now we just need to find our own permanent homes. 

 My life started out exciting, living outside under the sun and stars but now I have gotten very used to my foster home (with air conditioning :) and spending time with my family just playing and sleeping (no more looking around for food, I have room service now!)

My family says I am very curious when hanging around with my brother, Timothy. We love to run around and chase each other in circles! Timothy and I are always together and we can be found sleeping in the bed side by side. My favorite toy is string, but I've been known to play with anything I can get my paws on! Timothy and I always curl up together (which I don't mind because he's pretty cozy). It is my greatest hope that we can be adopted together, because we complement each other well. Timothy is a bit shy, but when I'm around, I really help him to come out of his shell.  Hey, what are sisters for?!

Please consider us to come live at your house with your family.  I met some kids, and like to play with them.  Also, my foster moms have a few dogs, and I'm beginning to think they're OK, too.

Every good home deserves two good cats.  Maybe my brother, Timothy, and I are the ones for you?

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
