Darcie and her two brothers, Dexter and Dagan were homeless kittens to a stray Mom living in an overgrown yard of a vacant house.  Mom and babies are all currently in foster care and doing great. Darcie is a very sweet girl that loves to be petted. She loves to play with her brothers and pink mousie is her favorite toy so far with feathers on a stick s close second. She likes to be pickd up and starts with the loud purring as soon as you do so. She is up to date on shots and tested negative for FELV/FIV. She is already litter trained. She is not yet old enough to be spayed but will be as part of the adoption agreement/fee. Cats this young need to be adopted in pairs or to a home with another cat as a playmate.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
